WSAZ reported a man was killed in Ironton, but no names yet and they were waiting on the acting police chief to give a report on it..

IRONTON — A 29-year-old Ironton man died when he was hit by a train shortly after 9 p.m. Friday in Lawrence County, according to the Ironton Police Department.

David Monroe, of 503 Vernon St. in Ironton, was pronounced dead at the scene after attempting to cross the tracks in front of a Northfork & Southern train. The train was traveling north on the tracks adjacent to the 600 block of North 2nd Street when it struck Monroe.

No foul play is suspected in the incident, though the Ironton Police Department and Lawrence County Coroners office continue to investigate.

Police said the location where the accident occurred was not a designated crossing area.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the Ironton Police Department Detectives Section at 740-532-5606.

Whats the story? 1 guy is hit by a train and 1 guy is found dead at the Marlow. Or is the news reporting 2 different acounts of the same story?

Where did you see the story about the Marlow? I checked WSAZ and WOWK and nothing about it.

xando, this morning Channel 3 news (Susan Nicholas) reported a man died at the Marlow and customers performed CPR trying to revive him.........
