I always found this event a noisy, disruptive nuisance prone to crime and violence.
But that's just me - I love the Gus Macker - of which you could say the same complaints.
Whatever attraction brings potential consumers into our town is a GOOD thing and should be promoted. But there shoud be safety rules/regs in place, announced, and enforced.
And all public events put extra pressure on our taxpayer supported law-enforcement - whose sevices/attention we demand/expect - but don't want the expense of paying for it.
