Coke to raise prices again.
Coca-Cola Co. 2Q Profit Drops 23
Makes since to me profit down raise prices.
Drinkers of Coca-Cola can expect to pay more starting this fall after the company's biggest bottler said Thursday that it would raise prices.
The issues at the bottler also hurt Coca-Cola Co.'s bottom line, since it owns about 35 percent of that business. The world's biggest beverage company said its profit fell 23 percent in the second quarter as it took a charge because of the bottler's woes.

I grew up drinking Pepsi, and using Miracle Whip on my Sandwiches! I married my Hubby, and now I drink Coke, and use real mayo on my sandwiches....so I guess I will be paying more for my Coke Zero!

Here in Southern Ohio....
Cincinnati-based G & J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers delivers. And it has done so for the more than 40 years that it has distributed Pepsi products in Ohio and Kentucky. The company is one of the larger Pepsi bottlers in the US, shipping the leading PepsiCo brands, including Pepsi-Cola, Mountain Dew, Gatorade, Slice, SoBe, and Aquafina to beverage retailers. The bottler was formerly named the Grandpop Bottling Co., and was under the management of Walter Gross and Isaac Jarson. The company's current chairman, Stanley Kaplan, was married to Jarson's daughter, Mickey, who died in 2003.

With Coke already at 1.79 for a 2 litre bottle, I will be staying with my Pepsi at 1.39 for a 2 litre.
Coke is one of the worst drinks anyone can put into their bodies the way it eats away at your insides.

[quote="whodeyAtown21"]maybe if they raise the prices, there won't be so many hooked on it.[/quote It's still better than someone being strung out on drugs. You talk like it's a drug or something.... It's Pepsi....It's not ever beer for crying out loud. Do you think if they raised Beer prices that it would cause a similair effect? Not so many "hooked" on it? I dont even drink by the way....
