Right on the money...........nice ..........wildthingRV wrote:KVDW wrote:what if it IS your baby, do you still have no say in what happens to your child?wildthingRV wrote: In the mean time, mind your own business. It's not your baby, it's not your soul, it's not your problem.
I reserve sex for within my marriage and I trust my wife to do the right thing when it comes to our kids. In our home, abortion is not an option. If you are afraid your sex partner might abort your baby, you had no business giving her the business in the first place.
The problem with the abortion issue isn't that I want one and I want it to stay legal, it's that it's someone dictating my morality. In this case, I can handle the decree. I don't have any use for an abortion. What I fear is down the road, someone can dictate that Catholics can't do communion anymore because it's cannabalism, or now have to attend an approved church or I'm an outlaw. The abortion issue is a power grab by the Christian right, and once they "win" they'll go after more. Next it's "demon rum", or pornography, or dirty books, or . . . the list goes on. They've done it before and I don't want it. I don't want to be told to do or not do what my conscience can tell me all by itself.

Yeah? and at what age do you think it's ok for the state to not step in an protect a child's life? do you think it's ok for someone to kill their six month old baby? one year? how about 10? do you think it should be a matter of conscience for an adult to take the life of their own 10 year old child? At what point should the state, as in, we the people, to protect a person's/child's life?wildthingRV wrote:KVDW wrote:what if it IS your baby, do you still have no say in what happens to your child?wildthingRV wrote: In the mean time, mind your own business. I believe the leaders of this land will be held accountable for how the protected their citizens one day before God. I also believe, because we have the type of government we have, we also shall be held accountable before God for the same to a certain point

If that's what you want, why aren't you screaming the walls down about the junk we feed them, the drugs we allow to be on the streets with them, the child molesters who prey upon them? YOUR cause isn't to protect the living, but rather the theoretical. Use your energy to help those who ARE born, and see what you can accomplish. But you won't because you aren't a doer, but a rager. You are only happen when you are angry.
Countless babies are born every day to people who don't care about them. What are you doing for them?

The answers to your questions are obvious. Of course we should enforce the laws against violence against children.
I don't believe for a minute that God will me accountable for you, or anyone else. I'm accountable for me.
Please answer my question.

You never answered the question. At what point do you believe that the people should protect a child?
