How much snow did you town/city/village get today?
Re: How much snow did you town/city/village get today?
That was an impressive bean crop you had last year! Mine was pretty good too although would have been better if not for the mexican beetles, this year I am going to put a row cover on as soon as the plants go in the ground before they have a chance to get started.Last year I waited too long.My tomatoes were crap last year! Tried a heirloom strain last year, but am going back to celebrity as they fare better in my garden.Back to topic we didn't get any snow around here but ch.4 said southern tip got around 4-5 inches.

I prefer microwaved or fried bacon in them with 1 medium sized green onion diced up in the fresh ones while they are in the pressure cooker.
If I use the canned ones I put them in a crock pot for about the same way for about 4-5 hours to get the flavor fully mixed. Anytime we have a get together, they are always requested for me to make

Runner you mentioned pressure cooker, have you ever tried to broast chicken with that ? Some say only the restraunts can do it, but I found a link awhile back that says it can be done,I thought about getting one if it would work http://www.inmamaskitchen.com/FOOD_IS_A ... king2.html
Re: How much snow did you town/city/village get today?
I have only used it to boil chicken in when I make Chicken Dumplings.
I ran across a site just now as well telling how to broast a chicken. Doesn't look like it would be hard to do. Sounds like it would only take about 20 minutes to cook that way after it is taken out of the brine.
As for "only restaurants can do it"....the broaster is only made available to restaurants, but the site says the process can be replicated with a regular pressure cooker

Last night we got a little dusting and it is snowing right now as I post.

If the ground hadn't been so wet we might have picked up an inch

None so far, but they are calling for 3-5 inches later.
