SC is a rebel alright. Liquid courage/and O courage. Yeah, a perfect shot/pic of a super cell and it's updrafts/and down drafts sculpting that wicked look. They was lucky that one wasn't worse than it was. Could have turned violent and dropped a tornado out of there. If they are too close or right on ya, it looks like dark outside. Whoever took this pic was there at the right moment when it was building and moving in. Flat areas are good for pic's of storms. Around here the hilly terrain blocks most of what wee see coming till it's almost on top of ya. You can still see them coming but not as sculpted as flat areas. Good pic. I bet this guy or gal made some money if the news got it. Good pic, and a Lucky pic. Rare to catch a super cell with that much sculpting look to it. Awesome.

Noreply, your 2nd page/7th picture down is something almost like it, but it's almost on top of ya/vs this one in a flat area looking at it at a distance. If you look at your pic the shelf cloud is there with the opening behind it. Bet that one looked almost the same from a far distance as it moved in, but the hills/and the valley Logan sets in block most of the sculpture look before one finally gets here.

The picture you are talking about the clouds came from behind some trees to the left and didn't see it until it cleared the trees.

Good pic's. Did you get inside in time before it hit? Or did ya get wet?
Be cool to live up on top of the Vine Street area to see them come in. Bet those guys up there get quite the view of incoming storms sometimes. :)

It was a little strange to see all the black go through with no rain, then came the rain and wind.
