The Instructor wrote:I miss Burger Chef.

There was one in Ironton and it was where Peddler's is today.

The Big Chef sandwich was my favorite.

I also have some of the Looney Tunes glasses from there.

I used to collect them.

My Mom and Dad used to take me and my sister to the one on old scioto trail in Portsmouth back when we were kids.Me and my sis always got the "fun meals"...The precursor to McDonald's happy meal.I liked that restaurant as well.

I am surprised that no one has mentioned it, but the REAL and original Bob Evans in Rio Grand was very good. The one there now serves the same stuff that is at all of the other cardboard cutout Bob Evans.

I was never able to pass through Rio without stopping for lunch or breakfast. Same food available at both times. Their Sausage sandwich was perfect. And the biscuits and honey were good also.

And the Bob Evans Drive In in Gallipolis. Food was very good there also. And no one has mentioned the Bob Evans grocery stores. Better than A & P in their time.

In the '60s and '70s, the Eagle's Nest in Morehead had decent food also.

Anyone remember the Shoney's Drive In in Charleston WV with the carhops wearing skates?
