It all depends on where the center of the low pressure makes her track. When she moves closer they can get a pretty good idea. But definitely something big is headed this way, Sunday into Monday. My fingers are crossed that the center makes a more northerly track when it finally reaches the area, and we get the warmer part of it.

I'll take the wintry mix/snow over freezing rain. Freezing rain can get wicked quick. Roads become ice skating rinks, trees and power lines can't take the weight when the liquid contact freeze builds up. Better have that generator on standby Bolt, Sunday/Monday. Electric might go out with a significant ice/glaze build up. WC has a heads up on that issue as well. But said it's all depends on the track. Nothing written in stone just yet. It's a ways off yet. Keep the fingers crossed. I know one thing for sure, my shovel is retired for the duration, don't care if we even get a foot of snow, my shovel is done.    :122245

I would rather have the snow..........maybe it will push a little more south and put the ice in Kentucky.

The last ice storm wasn't too bad as far as losing power around here and besides my generator could use a good workout, afraid it will get out of shape like us trench just laying around :aaaaa70

I heard that, I've lost around 15 to 20 pounds being off the :aaaaa85 .... My neck is starting to shrivel up like MS's and SC's is.  Going to get back on it as soon as I get use to these meds the doctor has me taking. Way toooo dizzy feeling right now. So it's going to be more lay around time for me until my skinny neck adjusts.   The shovel is also off limits for the rest of the winter season.   :122249 I'm ready for some :aaaaa87.... :aaaaa59.....

This is telling us straight up, there is no certainty of the type of precipitation it will bring, at this time. Very well explained though. Good stuff. Check it out. http://tuscweather.net/news/2014/02/sun ... ey-region/

California is going to get much needed rain, off of this same storm system, tonight and tomorrow.

Yeah, that's the sad part about it. They need rain, but when they get it, they get too much all at once. :(
