Sleeping with tv or radio on or do you need it quiet?

Post by LICKING COUNTY FAN »

I like the music playing as loud as I can or the tv on.
I have problems falling a sleep when it is too quiet.

I need to have it quiet. To borrow a line from Shawshank Redemption, "I better not hear a mouse fart," that's how quiet it should be.

I used to leave the radio on everynight when I was younger. I would listen to Loveline and then I would leave it on. Then waking up to Doctor Demento a few times kind of spooked me. so then I always remembered to switch the radio to 102.5 before I went to sleep. LOL

now

No noise. But we always leave the tv on without sound.

I can't stand the computer to be running at night or a fan we just got a little ceramic heater for our room we have the coldest room in the whole house and that bugged the heck out of me last night... but I was warm :-D

I have to sleep with a oscillating fan(in stationary position) on medium speed, no matter what the temperature is outside.

I sleep with the ceiling fan on, and the TV on with the sound turned down!

I usually listen to 13th step by Aperfect circle, a pink floyd album, or "sleepy time" a playlist on my computer....

TV is on, but muted with closed captioning, so If I wake up in the middle of the night I can read the screen to make me tired enough to go back to sleep. DIDN'T work tonight so here I am. We also have a fan running all year round.

I need quiet and as dark as possible. I can sleep with the TV on since I fall asleep in the chair all the time, but when I actually go to bed I want it quiet.
