Ironton getting anymore HD channels soon? (time warner)

Post by mattash »

Someone said they had CBS but I don't have it and a few other people I talk to said they don't have it. Anyone know for sure?

I only have 8 HD channels, they are all in the 700's. My 119 is the style channel I think. It would be nice to have some more HD channels though, at least they have Fox in HD. Nothing like watching the Buckeyes in HD! 8)

I have 40 now with Dish, it cost an extra ten bucks a month and I'm seriously wondering if it's even worth it. While certain stations like Discovery HD and HDnet are awesome, many just seem to be pushing through the same ole' quality signal on my programs. The only difference it is in a 16 x 9 format

I can't get the 700 channels.

92-1 is ESPN
118-1 is ABC
118-2 is FOX
119-3 is NBC
119-4 is CBS

That is what we have in HD as far as sports. We have a few others that I will have to check in other stuff like Discovery channel and others.

So, Rhiannon, is the other Fox, ABC, etc. channels not HD? I'm just figuring our new TV out and we get the channels you've listed and didn't on our old TV. In fact we get tons of new channels just by getting our new TV. I haven't changed my cable.

Yes the other Fox, ABC, ESPN are not HD but the ones I listed are HD. We didn't change our cable either and we too are getting a lot more channels than we did in the past. The first few weeks we had it we got one Channel that was not for the kids  We were like what in the world.

We get lots of sattelite music channels now too. Just wondering, but why do we get them now and don't on our other TV's without paying for new services? Was I paying for this all along?
