Not good at all folks creek is out and house setting right in the path keep fingers crossed and i'll keep updated

Several streets in Jackson closed also because the creek is up and out of its banks. Be careful because we are supposed to get the heaviest rains tomorrow. I hope your house will be okay.

Hope all is well! Watching our water hubby just checked in to see if I knew how to fix our drains ARGH! I'd figure it if I had to but hopefully it doesn't come to that then the surface waters backs up into the basement :122246

Im on a hill also. When the 37 flood hit the water was still 9 feet from touching the bottom of my foundation.

well the rain has stopped the water so far has stopped but with all the rain above us it'll start pushing its way our direction and according to my weather update the Hocking is going to be at 22ft. which could flood East State In Athens and US Rt. 33 in and around the Nelsonville area as in the big floods of August 1997
