Eldest going to red white and boom and then off to the River for the week-end
the youngest daughter working and spending the 5th watching fireworks with her boyfriend and family.. probably will watch them there also.

Wow i wish i could go to that concert. Im 18 and i love Tom Petty. But ive got to work on the 4th but I should be able to catch some fireworks. Anyone know when and what time the fireworks at Portsmouth will be set off?

I'll be in Manpower park on the third, selling tickets for our Relay team and then in the evening, selling flashing red, white, and blue necklaces before the fireworks. On the 4th, the family will probably have a cook-out.

I have to work on the 4th, but my family is having a huge party on the 5th at my brother in laws daughters house out in back of Lucasville. Last year they set off $18,000.00 worth of fireworks and the show went on for 45 minutes. My brother in law is a premier member of a place in Cincy that sells fireworks and for every one he buys, he gets one free.

just found out the hubby will be working on the 4th and the 5th the place he delievers to just sent us a fax they will be open normal operating hours hope that means bonus' ha ha

We will probably go down on the river in Portsmouth to watch the fireworks and listen to some music. Grand kids always enjoy it!

change of plans........due to being financially impoverished I am going to have to pass on the trip to the boats next week-end
and save my pennies for the beach in August.......so Mr and Mrs Turkey will be spending the day at beautiful and scenic Lawco Lake.......anyone having a cook-out and needing to invite guests we are available.......I will bring my own beverages and lawn chairs........

I think everyone ought to just go to the local gas station of choice and park as close as you can to the stations and sit there without going on their lot and buying gas. Kind of a peaceful sit in if you will. And if you do, may I suggest wherever possible going to a Speedway since they are the ones around here which are the first to raise prices and the last to come down.

No one buy gas on the 4th or even patronize their businesses. Just sit there and stare them down.
