We need teams for Relay For Life!! Relay will be held in May this year at Chesapeake. We will have a Kick-off On Tuesday , Jan 12 for teams. There you will be able to sign up your team and set up your teams webpage to take donations. There will also be info on fundraisers that you can do with your team.Relay is a very exciting, fun and REWARDING event. It is easy to get a few people together from your workplace, family, church, friends, etc and start your own team. If you want to be on a team there are plenty of teams that would love to have you as a part on their team. Just make sure you take part. Unfortunately each of us have a close family or friend that has had to fight the terrible diease. This is a great way to honor or remember them. The Relay theme, is "Celebrate, Remember , Fight Back"!!! Please dont set this year out, GET INVOLVED! I promise you will not be sorry you did. Our Relay likes to focus and honor survivors as well, so if you are a survivor and know of one, we need you there! There is a survivor dinner right before Relay where you can enjoy a dinner, get a t-shirt and win some nice door prizes, before taking the first lap to start the realy with is the Survivor lap, and what an experience that is.
