National Geographic - Adam Y and Eve

Did anyone else see this the other night? the National Geographic special that shows that the entire human race is descended from one male. We already knew that the entire race is descended from one woman. This is scientifically proven fact now, it's not religion, it's fact proven by DNA testing.

What amazed me though...knowing that the Bible told us that there was one man and one woman who all the human race came from...they ignored that and claimed that all man came from Adam and said he lived 60,000 years ago. They suggested that perhaps he was born with a better ability to speak or had a higher IQ or something and that maybe all the other males fathered girls (it's only through the males you can see all males sprung from because it's the Y Chromosome they are looking at) or all the other's didn't have children or they all died but Adams. Anyway..I thought that was kinda out there..to know that they came from one couple but scoff at they were Adam & Eve.

Who is Lilith the Bible mentions?........... And was the Garden of Eden in Eastern Africa as some scholars believe?.............hmmmmm....................... :12224

Lilith? no such person - 'return to sender'

I don't know where it was, most figure in the middle east. Of course, that region is nothing like it was when The Garden was there.

EVERYONE came from Adam and Eve, I have always believed that, HOWEVER I have also wondered this.

And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord. And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering: But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. And the Lord said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? Who is this everyone that cain is afraid of? it says right there in the beginning os the verse that eve concieved and she had 2 sons. so where did those that cain is afraid of come from?

Only answer is, his brothers, sisters, nephews etc etc. A
Person hits sexual maturity at around 15 or so (much earlier today) and it really doesn't say how old these guys were then. Might have been 50 for all we know. Hard to say how many children Adam and Eve had by this point, or how many children their children had. Doesn't say Seth was the third born but points out him as a possible replacement for a chosen son, perhaps for the lineage of Christ

WOW KII maybe me taking a year off has made me a little crazy or something, that is ALMOST exactly the conclusion I had come to, I am just always curious as to what others have to say about it.

Don't you find it amazing how such a startling revelation has received so little attention? Now, I call it that because I'm amazed it's out there anyway. Wonder why someone like paladin won't even comment on it here even?
