Grammar mistake?
Why does this bother so many as much as it does?
I would dare to guess those that it does bother are those same people who find the need to correct someone when they are having a face to face conversation with them.
I am not making fun of anyone nor am I trying to be any kind of smart butt by making this post.
I post on here to waste time and pay little or no attention to the manner in how others structure their post.
**** Just trying to come up with some new topics to keep this forum busy.
***** Please over look the mistakes in this post.

I didnt take typing, Im self taught, therefore you will find plenty of mistakes in my typing. I dont say anything to anyone, unless its a mistake you can make a joke out of.

Re: Grammar mistake?
Typing for me is done with 2 fingers and even 1 paragraph is intense labor for me. So if I make a spelling or grammar mistake,if it doesn't affect what I'm trying to say I just say to hell with it. If you don't like my grammar or spelling TS. I can spell but my typing is horrible.
Re: Grammar mistake?
Too many teachers out there.
if anyone is like me,I haven't had a bit of grammer since the 8th grade.
I was lucky to have a brain for a girlfriend, while in school.

Re: Grammar mistake?
The grammar mistakes that make me cringe is the misuse of words like "there" and "their", and "they're. Like, "There shoes looked brand new", no but "Their" shoes setting over "there" look brand new and "they're" very sleek.
Or "lose" and "loose". You don't "loose" a ballgame, you "lose" one. Your shorts on the other hand may be a little "loose".
I try to refrain from correcting people, but I will do like Space Cowboy and make a joke of it.

When you write messages on here, I feel, it is a representation of yourself.
Proper spelling and grammar usages are on the decline in this country.
People do not seem to care about writing properly anymore.

I would show you what comes next but Mrs. TigerTownTurkey might put a knot on my head so I will have to keep it a secret.

The importance of punctuation is shown in a wife's telegram to her husband... with one slight variation.
"Not getting any better. Come home immediately".
"Not getting any. Better come home immediately".
"Not getting any better. Come home immediately".
"Not getting any. Better come home immediately".
