Weather Channel's latest warning is calling for 6 to 9 inches. Al Gore is headed this way and will clear my driveway again.

I have my doubts on that 3-6 but I will go out on a limb and say we get a dusting, perhaps 1 inch max. At least that's my take from the East District. Heck, we'll never get the sectionals started, lol.

Most snow predictions in Southern Ohio are always off by a factor of 3. It will either be 3 times more or 3 times less. For example, if they predict 3 inches, we will either get 1 inch, or 9 inches.

Yeah, I doubt it. I'm tired of these the sky is falling weathermen every freaking week. Unfortunately, we have to go to Kroger tomorrow just because it is our usual time to go and the shelves will be empty and the store packed with panicky people stocking up like a nuclear winter is on the horizon.

I just hope YTB and Mrs. Bait get their anniversary celebrations in before it hits. Happy Anniversary to them.

Another round of impending doom, according to Chicken Little at WSAZ. More "White Death" on the way, according to the soothsayers aka the local TV weather forecasters

No sarcasm intended

Looks like a tough trek to classes tomorrow at Athens for the students. Luckily, i'm up near the Manson/Nixon, oops, i mean Mason, Dixon Line so might not see more than an inch or two in Monroe County.

Oh, shine, sun, shine!! - My thermometer said 19 degrees when I got up this morning before sunrise, and it's up to 38 degrees now at 1:00 PM. The more warmth the ground, esp pavement, absorbs now, the less chance falling snow has of accumulating! Big snow storms are much worse and have much longer-lasting effects when they fall on already frozen ground.
