Im in pain. Got my thumb caught in a saw saw and smashed the end of it half off. It also crushed the bone into small pieces. I got 9 stitches and have to see a bone spiecalist in the morning. Its still throbbing. The bad thing is it was my right hand.

I could have swore i unplugged the saw saw. KYII says Dogg prob plugged it in while i wasnt watching.

I've always heard the best thing for a sore thumb is to soak it inside her............ or is that in cider. I never was real clear on that one.

That thumb is done for OZ. get used to doing things without it the bones will never heal correctly. Hope I am wrong but I don't think I am.

a sawzall or reciproating saw. can do a ton of damage, glad you still have a thumb. i hope you make a complete and full recovery to your hammerin hand. turk is right i'm a master roofer if you need a fill in, and quite nimble on my feet, n easy on a ladder. lol. get well, my friend.

Biggdowgg told me that he couldn't figure out which was the dumbest thing he's ever heard of someone doing. Shooting themselves with a nail gun or cutting their thumb off while working on a PLUGGED in Saw-Saw. Just think though how much time you saved by not having to have to go over there and unplug that thing. Good move! way to economize

I did a stupid little thing to my L pinky finger recently which everyone thought was just funny and of no concern - but it still HURT! It really wasn't a biggie - good thing because I absolutely could not have afforded the deductable required to pay for a trip to an ER. So I treated it myself [I'm a retired RN] - iced it, elevated it, splinted it and it is now recovering and pain-free. But, granted, cuts and bleeding injuries might have needed more serious medical care right then. Hope you're better!

Walk over to the homeside at halftime during the Ironton/Wheelersburg game and find three Portsmouth boys. One seems to be ok, one has his thumb cut off and the other drilled a hole through his leg this week - :122246
