With oil back over 90 bucks a barrel the price at the pump will soon be back over 3 bucks a gal. again.
How will this affect you?

It affected me a while back. If you have a truck like I have, that guzzles gasoline like it does, you notice it real quick. I don't drive the truck though unless I have a real need to do so...say, hauling my boat to the lake or hauling something heavy or having Biggdowgg, Ozzie Ohio and Big Orange One in it to Bass Pro Shops. You need some serious power to do these things. You can't get it in a little 6 cylinder

With crude oil prices at the highest level in more than two years, holiday shoppers face the agony of $3-a-gallon gas this holiday season -- and much higher prices likely by springtime. "It now look as if December 2010 is probably going to be the most expensive month for gasoline in the U.S. since September 2008," says Tom Kloza, chief oil analyst at Wall, N.J.-based Oil Price Information Service.

I am back to doing all of my running after work and staying in my own county.
Re: Price at the pump on the rise(will you be making cuts)
I drive my car fewer than 5000 miles a year anyway, and I'm too old and lame to walk or ride a bicycle. And I have always made a practice of combining errands for local stuff.
I do think ahead more than I used to about how much gas I'll need [and how much money to allocate for travel expense] if I have family trips 2-3 hrs away coming up - esp here at Holiday time.
