eww,never had a problem with snakes, but spiders scared the crap out of me

I'm not really afraid of spider---I can let them crawl on me but I will come alive when looking down and one is on my shoulder.

Ive never thought much about spiders till about 5 years ago when I got bit by a brown recluse. Now I really dont like them.

I was crawling through some corn rows about 10 years ago looking for Indian artifacts and I crawled right into a huge Orb Spiders web. Just as I raised my head to look up the row I crawled through it and that huge Spider was right on my face. I actually screamed like a little girl and knocked down about 10 corn stalks running through the corn flailing my arms trying to get the thing off of me. I know they are harmless, but I hate Spiders and having one on your face is no picnic.

CBolt, I got a real nice scar on my forearm from it. We got to it quickly so it wasnt as bad as what it could have been, but it was still nasty. I was on antibiotics from August to Dec plus I ended up with MRSA.
