Danny was a great contributor to high school sports in our area. He played at Green and also coached football and baseball there. As a coach, he led Green to the final four in baseball and also trips to the State Football Playoffs. He also was an assistant football at Northwest and was a present member of the West football staff. Somehow, he found time to also be an outstanding basketball official and was an officer in the local Portsmouth Chapter. Danny was a great friend and will sadly be missed. He leaves a big hole to fill.

One of the good guys. Dan was always one of my favorites. You knew when you saw him walk in the gym you were going to have a well officiated game.
Couple years ago during a girls jv basketball game I was able to sit and talk some baseball with Dan. Prayers to his family.

Prayers to Dan's family. He always put a smile on your face. Was as fair and honest as a person could be. He was one of those umps that didn't have to be the game. He blended and did his job. The sports world has lost a great contributor and more important the world has lost a great human being.
