Top 10 Rock-n-Roll lead guitarists

Robert Johnson...Lead Belly...Muddy Waters...T-Bone Walker...BB King..Albert King...Freddie King...John Lee Hooker...Buddy Guy...Albert Collins...Chet Adkins...
Chuck Berry...Carl Petkins.
These guys were mentioned by my top 10 lead guitarists. There are many others who were mentioned like Glen Campbell for one.
I don't know if anyone has done a list like this before but here is my top 10...and yes, I cheated at position 10.
1. James Marshall Hendrix
2. Eric Clapton
3. Jimmy Page
4. David Gilmore
5. Steve Howe
6. Alex Leifson
7. Brian May
8. Angus Young
9. Joe Walsh
10. Carlos Santana/Eddie Van Halen/Stevie Ray Vaughn
Anyway...that is my top 10. Put a gun to my head and make me choose the 10th spot... I would go: 10. Carlos Santana...11. Stevie Ray Vaughn...12. Eddie Van Halen
But.....it's my list and that's the way I did it. You can cheat one spot only but....who's in your top 10???

That's Dr. Brian May to you. He has a PhD in Astrophysics. Oh, and he says Pluto IS a planet!!!

Yes...those are the three King brothers. Folks forget about Freddie...good bluesman!!
