Don't let me be lonely tonight.....James Taylor.....In 1971 James was at the top when all of a sudden he stop performing live and this is probably way this song never made it into the top 10.

I'm Just a Singer in a Rock n Roll Band.....The Moody Blues....This was the groups last single until 1978 though the group never said they add broken up during that time.

Sha-La-La.....Al Green.....In 1974 Al ex-girlfriend threw hot grits all him while taking a shower and then shot herself. Al suffered 2nd degree burns. One week later he put out this hit song.

Bennie and the Jets.....Elton John.....The follow up single to Good-Bye Yellow Brick road was suppose to be Candle in the Wind a tribute to Marilyn Monroe, but a black DJ in Detroit began play Bennie and the Jets from Elton's new Album so MCA released it with Candle in the wind the B side.
