Is ANYBODY catching any bass?

Got probably a total of 38 hrs in fishing out of the hocking river and only got 1 bass. It was about 8 inches maybe 2lbs if that. I caught him on a nightcrawler. and iv only tried spinner bait, flys, and rubber bait. This weekend or next im heading to lake hope for the weekend, and idea on what i should take.

I caught 24 bass on lake hope 2 weeks ago. I caught them all on a green pumkin baby brush hog.

I heard there wasn't a one of them over 10 inches though! that's so frustrating, isn't it? especially after you watched Bassmaster's the day before and they were catching 30 lb bags!

I caught 8 bass out of my pond today 12 yesturday but they were all between 6 and 12 inches, didnt catch any that big in my pond yet... I only tried one of them so far though. I went to one other pond and caught 15 in one hour there before it started raining a couple days ago.

Yeah it was actually the second largest largemouth I have caught on a zoom, last july the day before i got married i pulled a 24 1/2 inch largemouth out of the ohio river using the same type of lizard.

My buddy and i have fished the ohio since high school and by far it was the largest largemouth we have seen pulled out of there

another way to fish those lures is to break the tail of and put them on the hook back wards. i read about doing that a few years ago and tried it a few times. i have caught fish that way. the reasoning behind it is supposedly bass like to strike lizards head on, if they are hooked back wards it puts the hook right in the lizards head

most only weighed about 1 lb- 1 1/2 lbs. no pictures. but i can tell you i am in love with rooster tails this year

If I put the pictures on here of the ones that I took pics of that I caught this year everyone would get a good laugh, I only took pics of the ones that I thought were so small it was funny but I will add them anyway after I get them on photobucket

lmao....i caught one so small we were actualy gonna put it in my friends 55 gallon fish tank. it was no more than 6 inches long. i had the smallest rooster tail i could find on casting it out trying to catch the smallest bass i could. might have been a state record for smallest fish that could swallow a hook lol

I caught one the same size as my fluke . I was using a fluke.

I caught mine on a rooster tail, my favorite bait for the creek as you can tell in the photo thats where I was fishing when I got that extremely large fish

i thaught that was a creek....i love rooster tails too. i never used them much untill this year, now i never use anything else.
