If Dowgg had been there we would have grilled some good ole bass and made some sammiches. (We could both fight off Ozzie).

Tried to get Ozzie to go with me but he didn't want to downgrade to the shack I was forced to stay in....

I had to cook my own meals too. Oz didn't go for that either.
(What's that ole Wheelersburg Pirate blanket doing in that picture?)

Where's it located? (generally speaking of course)

Just a little ways off the water from where I was fishing............

Dartmoor Lake in Fairfield Glade, Tennessee. There are 12 (at least) private lakes there ranging in size from 200+ acres down to 5 acres. Would you believe I caught the biggest fish in a 5 acre lake.

...and ALL lakes, even the 200+ acre ones are NO WAKE lakes. Ozzie would love that. Doesn't mess with your fishin'. :)

I didn't get out 'till late a couple of days because the maid was late fixing breakfast. She had stopped by the market to pick up some caviar to put on the steak and eggs.

Weather was sunny and 80 every day. Low to mid 50's at night.

Night temp sounds perfect. Of course, the maid service is even better. Nothing like breakfast in bed. :12224 I may scope this joint out. :12224

Chump change to you I know, but it will cost you somewhere in the neighborhood of 15K to get your line wet there. It is a timeshare condo, one of two that I bought when I was a working man and had a little cash. :(
The picture of that cabin was just one I took of one of the houses located on one of the lakes.
I'll post a picture of the place I actually stayed if I can find it.
(I took my "maid" with me since Ozzie wouldn't go.)

This is where I actually stayed. Still not too shabby for a fishin' cabin........and there was an 18 hole golf course right out the back door..... one of 4 on the property.

Even better, no strings attachaed. Either cook or walk home.

That's what YOU think. That "maid" handles the purse strings in this family and I had to ask permission to go fishing. I call her Mrs. BOO.

Why do you think I was the one standing at the stove in the picture...... and I had toast with home made blackberry jelly and coffee for breakfast. LOL

You're not going to believe this but I ran across TigerTownTurkey and his girlfriend playing in a honky tonk band down there. :122246 :122246 And that is absolutely NOT PhotoShop either.

Yeah, it was fun.
I would sue Ozzie if I were you.
