Local driver beats national travelers again

For the second straight week, a national Dirt Late Model touring series has came through southern Ohio and for the second straight week a local driver has ended up with the big money. This week it was the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at the Portsmouth Raceway Park with Grayson, Kentucky driver Josh McGuire taking the $10,000 victory! McGuire also set a new track record with a time of 14.24 and won his heat race.

I was there and the late model race was a good one. If you weren't there then you missed out. Too bad we didn't get to see Carrier Jr. get up to the front or allow Moran to get a long enough green flag run to give McGuire a run for his money. All in all it was a great race!
