Josh Bocook wins September 6th at Rocky Top!

Track was in awesome shape tonight and we saw good racing. But it was a very, very wild night. To start things off, Bo Cox went through the guardrail and into the woods in Hot Laps. Then in one of the Modified heats, Mike Sark flipped in turns three in four. To cap it off, Tony Sites flipped at least six times with Jerry Cushing flipping three times in the Mod Lite A-Main. Track was fast and smooth.

The scariest and most horrific incident of the night came in the Tomahawk Race Car Modified A-Main. Track worker Roger Ramey was struck on his ATV by a car (Nobody was at fault, it was just a freak accident). The only injury as of now to Ramey is a broken thumb. He was transported to St. Marys Hospital in Huntington, WV for precautionary reasons. We will have another update on the website in the next day or two. Keep Mr. Ramey in your thoughts and prayers though as he is going to be extremely sore.
