Why do you think all these bucks are already sheddingtheir antlers? I don't think it is normal, is it?

No it's not. A friend of mine processes meat and he was getting bucks a few weeks back in gun season and they had shed. Late January and early Febuary is more normal.

My son, and my brother have both shot Bucks with their antlers shed. Last year, my brother was saying that normal deer season is off by a couple of weeks. This year it is even more so. Just wondering what everyone elses take on this was.

I had bucks last season up into the middle of February before shedding.

This year I've had 2 that's allready shed and a 12 point that shed one side last night.

I just saw a nice 10 point, and 8 point together with another deer that didnt have horns on it but id say it was s buck that already shed its antlers because usually this time of year I always see that the bucks and does stay seperate...

Last year during muzzleloading season i found 3 sets of horns in our pasture field while I was hunting but they were just little antlers and have heard that they shed earlier most times.

I know some bucks dont shed there antlers every year becasue I have saw a couple in the summer with full size antlers without velvate. And one of them was easily an ohio big buck and the other one was almost there!

The Buck on the right lost his left side on 12/29 and is still carrying his right side, getting close to a month later.
