I had some nice bass in my pond, but with the lack of rain last year, the pond got very low. I am hoping that they survived.

Yes, I was.... but please stop calling me Shirley. Actually I was just trying to make you feel sorry for me and wrangle an invitation to fish in your ponds.
Where does your grandpa live so I can go see if he is any more of a sport than you are?

He's probably more my age anyway which would automatically make him a better sport. :)

He lives on rt. 218 and the ponds were all old strip mine ponds. None of them had any fish in them until 3 years ago when I stocked them pretty good with some nice bass and bait fish. All of the ponds all ready had alot of lizards and frogs for them to get there grub on  He doesnt fish, hunt or anything like that. Never even had a gun in his house until last summer when I let him borrow a .22 because some dogs were running his cattle. He didnt even like shooting that little cricket

You have to walk about a mile and go up a big hill to get to any of the ponds though so Id say a guy your age might want to rethink the idea ;-)

!/2 mile north of deadmans curve on 218, its the only house on the left going up the only hill near buffalo bills cave. . Cross the fence walk staights up the hill directly in front of you and you will run into the first pond. To get to the second pond you have to walk past it on a logging path about a 1/2 mile. Oh and the other pond is right beside where you parked your vehicle

Now that's TOO specific. I'd take that off. Your Grandpa may not like the advertisement. :)

Douglas is known as a smaller bass lake Ozzie..loaded with 2 to 3 lb fish and a good sprinkling of 4's but...many times..those 3 to 4's are the funniest to catch! they love to bust the surface.

I've been there twice. The first time I was at the upper end..caught everything bass fishing..including sauger on lizards! strange!
