I got off the phone this morning with bigdowg, and was sitting here thinking about it and all of a sudden I remembered a place I used to go with Blues DAD my step dad, and sure enough I went there and found about 25 but they do need rain

I was joking, My nephew came by with a bag of about 25 said my brother told him I was out looking for some with no luck. Him and his dad had found 3 bags full his dad gave him one bag so he was out giving them away because he dont eat them and stoped at my house last. He is going again tomorrow and I made sure he knew to stop here first.

I usually just sautee (?) mine in butter right along with a couple of nice bass. They're great together.

I dip them in 1 egg and a little Milk stired together then fry them in butter untill golden brown MM Good.

my pa found a bunch of big ones yesterday... he said they were the nicest ones he'd gotten for a while

I was talking about the shrooms.

I like to dip my bass in a little milk/egg and then roll them in corn meal. They fry up nice and brown and delicious that way.

The Toad Stool Fairy left me a little present sometime today. I just found them.
I'll fry them babies up with a couple of bass for supper tomorrow.

I found 75 last night, found some big white ones. Take self-rising flour, seasoning salt, creol seasoning put in ziplock bag dip mushrooms in milk, then put in bag & shake, then fry.

I found one last night and it was in the middle of the trail. I was thinking of ordering a starter kit so I could grow my own.

I'm having trouble finding them I haven't found a good patch of them in the land lab at athens, someone probably has gotten to them first

Ozzie frost didn't hurt them a bit---my uncle found a whole sack hunting down by New Straitsville--with the rain last night and this morning--the big yellows and white ones will be a popping this week so get your walking shoes on---got mine and LUCKY--mushroom stick too forgot to tell ya need to get ya a lucky one too---lol--good luck--going tommorow so let ya know about them yellow and whites---their the ones I want taste better than the others---seen on craigs list where these clowns are trying to get 45 dollars for a pound of pecker heads only in Columbus almost forgot tell BIG DOWG FOUND SOME MORE SHEDS

The husband found a mess of the white ones on Saturday. Yummy. Did any of you see the photo of the mushroom that was found in Friday's Ironton Tribune? I wish they had it on-line so I could link it to this site but they don't. I've already thrown the paper away but I'm thinking it was 22-inches around. It was huge.
