Usually the last week in May. Get yourself a light that has a bright but narrow beam of light. You will be catching crayfish at night. Get a pair of good waders and minnow bucket. Find someone you're not fond of to hold the bucket and watch for snakes. I'll go into detail toward the end of May.

I dont know of any Bass or Catfish ones yet , but there is a Big Crappie tourny on May 3rd at Deleware State Park. For more info check out http://www.Ohiogamefishing .com, click on OGF Crappie open. This tournament is a Blast. Its open to boaters and shore anglers also . And you dont have to be a member of the site to sign up , but if you like talking all things out doors please check the site out.

I looked it up and its only 45 minutes away for me so I will more then likely go up there for that.

Brutus, You might want to sign up pretty soon if your fishing from a boat , They are capped out at 50 boats and the last time I looke We had 40 already. I dont want you to make a trip for nothing. If you do get in , Its a blast , Last year my buddy and I finished 12th I think .Let me know if you get in it or not.

ok enforcer thanks for telling me that, I must of missed it. I just talked to my partner today so hopefully we will figure things out by tomorrow and get signed up.

Yatesville(Louisa, KY) has some pretty good small tourneys. I'll finds out some dates later.

Yatesville has a Friday night tourny, it runs from 7 to midnight. 20 dollars per boat to get in it. Thay start around the end of march I think. there ussaully 50 to 80 boats in it you can win some big bucks.
