Looks like the State is at it again.Jan 9-12 ? I think a lot of bucks will be killed by mistake since so many are shed at this time. What are your thoughts? At least they included a weekend which sometimes hasn't been the case in the past.

Message understood. They must realize at some point 100% of nothing is nothing.I guess we'll have to see how it goes.Best of luck everyone.Remember cashews are $4.00 a pound, walnuts are $3.00 a pound but DEER NUTS are still under a buck.

I figure i will be shed hunting then. I always start shed hunting the day after Christmas anyways... Gotta get them before everyone else does these days! lol  I actually have a buck that had already lost both sides the first week of gun season....never seen it before, but my guess is he was wounded...

I know I'm in the minority but now I can can get time off again. Being low on the totem pole when it comes to scheduling vacation, I haven't hunted muzzleloader season for many years. Now that it's back in January I can easily get a couple of days off.

I went out for a couple of hours this morning. I jumped a few does about ten steps into the woods and then didn't see anything else. It actually wasn't very cold. Anyone else have any luck?

Today was the best day for our hunting party, We killed 6 deer between 4 of us . I filed my last two tags, One of my Brothers filled his last two tags , And My other 2 Brothers got one each. All does. I saw 22 Deer today , Most were Does, A few small Bucks And a Really Nice 12 Point That was 35 yards broad side laughing at me cause he knew I didnt have a Buck Tag! . Overall a very Good day, Now have more time for Rabbit Hunting
