At the half it's Vinton-45 Athens-24
Athens has been awful with the ball, making multiple bonehead inbound passes that have been stolen. I credit Vintons 3point shooting ability to capitalize off Athens sloppy play and lack of good ball movement IMO. No question the 3point ability of Vinton is something that shall carry them through out the season. Athens will need to find some shot making ability and a defense to contain Vinton.

Bartoe with 17 at the half. Athens took a quick 8-2 lead but it's been all VC since. This game has not been competitive since half way through the 1st.

Athens coming out with some pressure and intensity that was missed in the first half. Still long way to go if they want to make it a game 45-32 but it's a good start.

Vintons shooting ability was to good for Athens to overcome that horrible first half. For Athens to have a chance they will have to come out like they did the 2nd half. Good luck to both teams moving forward!

Vinton has such a good half court offense. That first half they picked us apart. I liked Vinton is very physical on defense

After the 1st 4 minutes this game was never in doubt. VC dominated throughout. VC moves to 3-0 and has yet to be challenged.

Athens just not on VC level. Still a good team but VC is special. Won't be any better when they come to VC
