Coach Travis Robertson's Son Braylon
One of the little guys we all watch at halftime of the Waverly games needs your thoughts and prayers.
Travis Robertson's youngest son, Braylon, has been at Children's Hospital since Tuesday. Travis said that they believe he has Kawasaki disease. He felt that they would keep him at Children's through Saturday, at least. May our thoughts and prayers be with their family at this time.

No good news to report. Braylen has not responded to treatment very well as of yesterday. If anyone has heard anything feel free to add. Please keep the Robertson family in your hearts and prayers.

The news is positive. his fever has broken and he is responding to aspirin therapy. Looks like things are looking up. Go to the Children's website and send Braylen a card. Room 6135

Braylon is home!

Tell everyone thanks for their prayers and thoughts, it was greatly appreciated by my whole family. Braylon did have Kawaski Disease. He had some very rough moments, but he is a tough kid. (Good thing he takes after his mom!) They did two antibody treatments that were unsucessful. The doctors said he is 1 out of 100 kids that get that treatment and do not have a good reaction to it. His temperature got up to 104.2 after the second one, so they decided to do a 3 day steroid treatment that has seemed to work. We finally got home with him Tuesday anout 3:00 pm. He is really tired and grumpy, which is expected after what he went through. Since the treatments did not work he runs a little higher risk of having some problems with his heart, but he is taking aspirin, zantac, and steroids daily to prevent any future problems. If everything goes as planned he should be fully recovered and never have any effects from the disease.
Thanks again,
