Props to this officiating crew for this game so far. Lot of intensity and gamesmanship

Second half the crew called it touchy but I thought they were consistent on both ends.

81-77 Fairland in OT....Athens up 66-64 and Fairland inbounds out of a TO with 6.2 secs and just gets off the last second shot to Tie the game-Athens leads by as many as 14 at one time and Fairland presses Full Court to cut the lead and go back and forth-Great Game!!!...

Thanks , I just seen on another site that there was ten straight fouls called on Athens when they had the lead.
You know how many points Lutz has?

Toward the middle of the 3rd till end of Game the Fouls definitely went Fairlands way. Not sure how many Lutz had-Rough guess at least 30+....This will give Athens great film to learn to break the Press-Ball handlers were pressured and turned the Ball over many times in the 2nd half...Great adjustment by Fairland

Fairlands Fans Purposely Sat Behind Athens Bench And Yelled As Loud As They Could During Athens TO's...Classless IMO...You would think Fairland was playing for the National Championship-It was Laughable and Showed poor Sportsmanship-They should be Ashamed-Also Sheriffs Deputy removed 2 of their Fans-I wouldn't be proud to be a part of that Program-Just my Opinion-Athens Players took the High Road-Fairland players played dirty-And no-Not a Sore Loser....

It was a great game! Well played by both teams, fans certainly got their money worth. Although Fairland took about 3/4 up of the gym compared to our 25 fans, but a two hour drive will do that to you, lol.

GO Dogs! #20 biggest fan and pretty fond of the Coach too

I don't even know who that poster is. I didn't hear one Athens fan complain about officiating after the game. Actually, one of the guys officiating had a state championship game last year and is darn good. No crew ever calls a perfect game, there will always be complaints from both sides on any given night.

I don't care who he is, as I usually state, every game some one blames officials. Not specific to this game, but "Athens got hosed big time" is definitely an excuse by someone to the loss being the fault of officials. Not sure how anyone could take it any other way. Bottom line, every play contributes to the outcome, and to blame officials is a total cop out and a disservice to the game and the kids on both sides who play hard and earn what occurs.

Didn't have to "be there", the post says it all someone blames officials, not the play on the floor, not the positive efforts of the players, or the missed shots, turnovers committed or the effort that is put in by players on both sides.
