Rennovations at Nelsonville-York's Ben Wagner Gymnasium

Post by NYBuckeye96 »

Does anyone have information on what the new Wagner Gymnasium will look like after rennovations this year?

I'm sure it will be a beauty when it opens in the 2010-2011 school year!!!!

NY is playing all of their basketball games at the new junior high school that is now attached to the high school this season. The entire high school is closed this school year for rennovations and the high school students are attending classes in the brand new junior high school this year, while the high school is gutted and rennovated.

I'm glad that NY is getting a new gym...however, I think Belpre has the worst gym in the TVC Ohio.

First, I think you mean "Where" not "were". Maybe your education needs renovated?

They just built a brand new junior high school and are currently renovating the high school. The school will have brand new science labs added onto the existing building. In addition, there was a technology component to the levy when it passed a few years ago, so NY will have the most high tech facilities in the region upon completion of the renovations.

why waste the $ on baseball and softball? N.Y. will always be a football school.
They are lucky to win 5 games a year in softball and baseball.

Hopefully that will change in the next couple of years.

I can't wait until the high school is done. We are going to have a great looking facility from the elementry up to the High School.
