You have had 3 winning coaches since 1959 and one of them is 23-21 with a 52% winning record. They must have sucked huh? Cmon man!

OOB, not sure how much SOCI basketball you follow but if you win around 50% of your games you're doing good. Consider that Clay plays Valley, Minford, South Webster and usually a few other larger schools. These are game you probably aren't going to win consistently with 55 boys in your system. So most of those 13 to 18 game win season where sweeps in their division and a few SOC II wins to boot.

I'm not on here to bash the kids, but really see clay as a bottom tier team in the SOC this year. JMO.

I dont see how you say they dont have talent when they returned 2 of the leading rebounders last year and their leading scorers from last year and the whole team is pretty athletic

well still even tho you guys returned those guys how many games did you win last year?

The point was that the leaders were sophomores last year so they should be stronger players as Juniors.

ps Someone needs to tell Coach T that PHS used a combination of zones to beat Marietta last night. Maybe his "zones are weak and don't work" philosophy is wrong.
