Shake it off Indians. There is still a lot of basketball to be played. It's time to start focusing on hanging an upset loss on a 1 or 2 seed in sectional. That would be sweet!!

I couldn't make it to the game last night, but it's good to see Valley come away with an easy win after the tough games they have playe lately. I was a little suprised to hear that Utley and Yates were in the game so much in the 2nd half. From what I understand, Western was never really in the game in the 2nd half so why not give these guys some extra rest. They are in the middle of a 5 game in 7 day stretch, so against Western, West, and Clay they need to find extra chances to give these boys a break. Hopefully they're fresh against Burg next Tuesday, because the Pirates and Barrick will find a way to control tempo and make that a tough game to win.

nice win for valley boys Tyler "Tenacious D" Keller has had 2 great defensive games Johnny "Spider " Webb lures them into the trap. Luke getting more confidence in his shot which is good going into tourney. BJ getting more confidence and good all around play, Rob "Reach for the Sky" Dwyer brings quickness and length for shot changing. Yates and Utley keeping it smooth. jason hustle and solid minutes off bench. Come on guys be calm and confident and continue to improve on the shot choices and making the bunnies

This doesn't really have to do with this game, but I was talking to Yates' dad after the game about the sectional we moved to at Jackson... It's probably been discussed on here before, but my goodness whoever comes out of there is going to be battle tested. Along with us, you have Oak Hill Portsmouth Burg Chesapeake Fairland Coal Grove Ironton Minford and a couple others that are slipping my mind... That is just brutal. Matchups are going to be so important so its nice to get a few of these wins to hopefully improve our seeding.

Don't forget, four schools advance from each sectional this year.
