Portsmouth at Gallia Academy 2/12

Portsmouth travels to Gallia County on Friday to take on the GAHS Blue Devils at their new gym.......I have been looking forward to this trip since the new school was built......hopefully our kids can shake off the rust of a 10 day layoff after all these cancellations.......GAHS got a game in this past Monday with Chillicothe.......the Trojans haven't played since a 66-61 2OT loss at Chillicothe on 2/2.

This is always one of my favorite trips of the year.......the weather looks good for tomorrow........I look for a very tough game for Portsmouth, with the layoff and an improved Blue Devil squad.......the Trojans must force the tempo of this game.

Portsmouth is 6-4 in the SEOAL and 7-6 overall.......

I believe the new school is on Rt.141 west of Gallipolis......perhaps Jottings or GAHS4ever can give specific directions on how to get there.......it would be appreciated.

Portsmouth needs to win to help their seed standing at the sectional draw Sunday at Jackson.

Gallia Academy is getting better at Ozzy ball. If Portsmouth plays with their potential passion they will win by 15+......if they are not careful it will be a 35-31 game.

No, but it would be nice if one day WBYG 99.5 decided to get a web stream for people out of the listening area.

Looks like we might get this one in Dave. Dowwgie and Ozzie are talking about a pre game meal at Bob Evans in Rio if their work schedule lets them get away. These 5:00 tripleheaders are murder on pre game get togethers. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow. Make sure Oz gives you the grand tour!

There are two levels to the HS. The main entrance is the upper level which leads to the offices and educational wing, and the lower entrance leads to the caeteria and athletic wing. Chillicothe understandably went to the main entrance last Monday but I saw them going there and headed them off. Park in the lower lot and you will see the gym entrance.

I have a new iPhone app that if I make it up I'll put it to use if not Friday night I'll use it Saturday for the home game plus i know I'll have better coverage. But basically it allows me to use my iPhone to stream live to my ustream website live audio and video. The channel also has chat. But anyways I'll post tomorrow if I can go and the website URL is
