in 1983 we lost to Eastern-Pike losing the consecutive regular season (home) game winning streak, finished 20-3. In 1984 lost to CAPE at Walnut Hills in OT we were 19-0 going into that game, Finished 23-2.

Wasn't saying we didn't want the gold ball just saying they just had more gas in the tank to keep us from getting it. Not bashing the indians effort

These Peebles kids have been through so much this season...some extremely close games, 1,000 point and record-breaking moments, the death of a player's father, injuries, snow days, makeup dates, etc....and through it all they've brought a community together and made everyone so proud. Not only because of the final score on most nights, but because they've stayed a TEAM and played with heart and class. Did it feel awful to lose tonight? Yes... Did we want to go 20-0? Yes... Do we want to beat the heck out of North Adams and get to the Convo? Of course!! But no matter what, there is so much more to think about from this season than just one night. Hopefully we can remember that and move on! GO INDIANS!!

great game, both teams played extremely hard, youre right the big kid (Blake Blevins) will get alot of credit and should 25pts 18 reb 6 block shots is a pretty good night, however hanson was solid and the play of the gaurds was key in the hounds win,not to mention sophmores Combs and West

IMO the game came down to the Manchester underclassmen gaurds performance in the fourth. Combs played great and Ricketts hit some huge shots. The Indians also seemed to go a little too one dimensional on offense at the end. Peebles played a great first 3 quarters but just could not hold on to it. Congrats on the great season Peebles! 19-1 is nothing to be ashamed of. Also it should be mentioned that both the JV and Freshman teams both had awesome seasons as well.

Peebles Varsity: 19-1
JV:17-3
Freshmen:12-2

It was definitely a heart-breaker but we are still standing with nothing to be ashamed of with a great winning season in our rear view mirror we move on to the tourney. Good luck to Manchester, it was a strong win and you have had quite a season, beating two state ranked teams in Ironton and Peebles. Keep up the good work in the tourney. I've never been prouder to be a Peebles Indian. Good luck to my Indians tomorrow night.
