Thanks Jimmy. That's what The Chef thought. The Chef knows Piketon was ranked 2 years ago and back when we had Vulgamore and Miller but have we been ranked before?

Ok post Peebles and Oak Hills Schedules. Yes Peebles should be good once again but do they play a schedule like the Redsteaks I doubt it so when they have a high win total is a wee bit misleading like last year. Granted the SVC is going to be a little down this year like SHL but Piketon's non conference schedule is pretty tough. So to have them at 14 over Peebles is understandable. We will see how the season plays out on the court. Going to be a great hoops season for southern Ohio for sure. Good luck to all team Go Streaks.

Congrats to Evan Legg for signing with Rio Grande today. The young man has worked very hard and paid his dues. Also to his parents Scott and Tracey. Well deserved, now he can focus on the upcoming season.

Congratulations to Evan. Rio is definitely getting a steal here. How about the Brush kid? Any chance he may play at the next level? If so, who has offered?

Congrats to Evan! Rio indeed got a steal here! Happy he'll be close to home and look forward to watching him play in a tough league!

Brush will undoubtedly get some offers. This season and his play will determine at what level. He did get invited and attended Penn States Elite camp over the summer and played well. He has played well all summer and fall...his physical maturity is beginning to catch up with his size and talent. I look for a big year from him!

Should be an exciting year for all Redsteaks!

Strength of schedule should not effect preseason rankings....but I would agree that 17 wins for Piketon would mean more than 20 would for the Indians this season. I wish the supposed matchup between Peebles and Mason County would have came to be but...maybe next season. :122247
