fasteach,

Meigs played in the ravenswood summer league and played in at least one shootout (point pleasant) that i know of. As usual, you have no clue what your talking about.

Back to the poll; I like the Vikes in the TVC Ohio.
VC should have the inside track to the basketball league title the next few years if all the young talent and Matt Combs stay in McArthr.
Good luck Matt.
Time to take Vinton County Vikings Basketball to another level.

Any good places to eat around the Vinton County High School? Chesapeake scrimmages them this Saturday and should be finished right about lunch time. Anything good besides the usual fast food places? Never been there personally.
Mama Renies on the corner by the red light. They have a full menu besides Pizza.

YES! By far best place to eat in McArthur.
If going through Hamden, the diner has good home-cooked food.
if you come through Opelika, Alabama :aaaaa11 ; come to our new resturant
THE HIGHWAY 80 BARN.
can be found on face book.

For the best home cooking just go to the gym and watch a league basketball game. JK guys, so don't get all defensive. ;-)

witness i was not there so i really only have 2nd hand knowledge but the last time i checked the kids are the team. so if most of the kids did not play i am sure that no one named "team" actually was there. as i say this did not make the papers, no lettermen knew about it or they are sworn to not talk. it could happen. you are the expert

OVCfan you are better off to stop in Wellston and eat.
Mama Renies only wants people from Vinton county in there.

I am not trying to answer for witness or do I care how Meigs runs their program
but I will say you may want to get some first hand knowledge before you post because just about every time I saw Meigs play in the summer league they had the majority of their players.

Meigs did play some summer ball. I know cause my son plays for them...Not ALL the players did..but a huge majority of them did.

Meigs scrimmaged Federal Hocking tonight and Won 5 out of the 6 periods that they played. If all scores were tallied together...Meigs would have beat them by at least 20 points.

Please expand on what you are talking about??? Does this mean they will have rebuilding years for the next 2-3 years, or mean they should be good the next 2-3 years???

It's taken a while but Nelsonville-York finally has a chance to compete for a TVC Title. Last years Freshman were very good, and the JV was pretty good to. The Varsity players coming back should do a great job. The next few years will be exciting for Buckeye basketball.
