Lynchburg Clay @ Peebles 2/18/11

Post by TribeManiac10 »

Senior night for the Indians. Last game of the regular season and a win gaurantees Peebles sole possesion of the SHL D2 and at least a tie for the hypothetical overall SHL title. This game is interesting for a couple other reasons as well.....Blake Justice is just 8pts shy of breaking the all-time SHL scoring mark set by Lynchburg alum Paul Cluxton and it could potentially pit two teams together that have the oppurtunity to meet in the sectional provided the mustangs can get by North Adams. What does everyone think of the matchup? I know very little about Lynchburg this season.

Solid game all around for the Indians tonight. Blake led the tribe with 25??pts followed by Jake with 15pts 10rebs and Trent/Tyler both hovering around 12pts. Congrats to the three time defending SHL II champs!!!

Solid game yes. Pretty physical, however, that is probably a good thing because that can only help prep them for the physical games they'll need to play as they get deeper in the tourney.

Peebles has had a few physical games this season...first game against Manchester, both Whiteoak matches, Fayetteville, and Lynchburg that I can think of... looking forward to tourney, I predict we will see the Mustangs again.

rooster,
I watched the Lynchburg vs Peebles game the other night.I didn't see it as real physical game.I missed both Whiteoak games but heard they were very physical.I think your prediction will be wrong and the Devils win a close one.
