It's been well documented on this site of how streaky the Pioneers are. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if they made a run to the District Finals and it wouldn't surprise me if Belpre beat them by 20+. If they can pound the ball inside to Wes Beam(16.7 ppg, 9.7 rpg, 73% FG) then they'll have a chance. Beam can be very effective if they look for him, but he's getting all of his points off putbacks, then the Pioneers are in trouble. Carle, Hill, and Whitehouse are solid perimeter players and can get hot very quickly.

I look for Zane Trace to get hot early and take a 8-10 point lead after the 1st, but then Belpre will wear them down and advance to the Convo with a 64-56 victory

Forget the higher seed stuff. Zane trace will give all or more than than belpre wants. Both teams have pluses and minuses . Should be a good high school basketball game.

Belpres best players are sophmores Terriluet??? and Jake Ullman.Ullman is a great shooter.Terriluet is a big that plays around the hole.Nestor the teams only Sr is a good defender and decent scorer.15-5 Belpre is pretty good with 3 of the teams losses to Fort Frye(16-4) and 2 losses to Warren (18-2)...They also beat D2 Marietta earlier in the year.Trace and Belpre could be this sectionals best 2 teams I think its bad seeding.

Belpre is coming off a great game that was a complete team win, ZT has been fighting sickness and not at full strength, I'll take Belpre by 12 with ZT fouling at the end to open up and good close game.

I have commented on every other school in Ross County tonight so here it is.... If ZT seniors would grow up a little maybe they could realize the potential that has been in front of them! A 9-11 record is pitiful! They can get it done tomorrow night if they decide to show up and play. If not, very disappointing season for the pioneers.
