I think Todd Kellough would be a nice fit for Waverly

He was head Junior high at piketon last year and he will have the players playing the game the right way. He also knows how to coach the game so that his players have at least a chance to win the game. I have also watched him coach some AAU games and he does a great job with all the players. West Union needs to take a good look at this coach

Was Kyle the 8th grade boys coach this past season at Piketon?

Yes I believe he was.

I think Waverly would be crazy not to hire Todd Kellough, if in fact he wants the job. I grew up around him, the man bleeds basketball and in all honesty shocked me he is not the head coach at HHS by now. Can't say enough about not only the coach he is, but the way he presents himself. It would be a win/win for Waverly. (Again just my opinion).

Coach Harrop would be a great fit at West Union. Was an assistant under him his two years at Western and coached with him as an assistant a few years prior to that. Would be a good fit in WU and could get the boys heading in the right direction.

It really just depends on what direction West Union wants to go.

I think Pertuset would do a great job. He's young and would commit himself to the program. I know how hard he works.

If WU doesn't get him now, someone will soon.

I would say it had something to do with the drop-off in talent, judging from Western's season w/l total since he stepped down. As for Pertuset I do believe he worked on the Jr. High level last season for Coach Lisath in Piketon.

That's the question, who are the leading candidates for Rock Hill, Waverly, and when and who will be interviewed?

Travis Robertson did a helluva job at Waverly. He was very dedicated. I guess alot of people forget that possibly Jake Kretzer doesnt go to Waverly if not for the chance to play for Travis. So, please keep comments to yourself regarding time with family and things like that. I happen to know him very well and he is still sick over their last loss. The man cares about the future of Waverly basketball, but he does need to slow down and not be criticized for what he wants to do. If he coaches soon I wish him the best ,if he doesnt, we will have to wait to watch his kids play down the road as they grow up. Goodluck Travis......

Totally agree Main Man. It's easy to come on a website like this and bash or criticize someone hidden behind a screen name.

Does anyone know the internal applicants at Waverly? Should get some nice interest from others now.
