new coach may want his own people. plus a lot more exposure and better chance of advancement from the big 10.

Sorry for not paying previous attention - do you mean the young man who graduated from Greenfield McClain HS and then attended and played spectacularly for Xavier University?
Granted, I am woefully uninformed; but isn't he long out of the "high school" topic scene?
And I really don't get what he has to do with OU - as I said - I've not been paying attention.

Dante applied for the HC job at Chillicothe, but didn't make the final list though.

Re: dante jackson?
If I were on a school board or an athletic director, I would gamble on Dante. I would use the example of the success Dustin Ford had at Jackson as my amunition. Young inexperienced but motivated, knowledgeable and has D1 experience that will bring 3 things that are invaluable in coaching. He will be able to motivate and relate to the young men and will bring a toughness to the program. He will know how to put together a game plan and execute practices for this plan and he will be able to scout, with all the game films he had to watch as a player, he will have gained lots of knowledge on that subject for sure. Also, he just spent a year as a grad assistant under John Groce at Ohio University. I'm sure he gained some extra experience there. The only negatives would be can he manage the pressures of parents, administration and board members when a player issue arrises? Because we all know they will.......But I would absolutely take a shot with Dante as my head coach at my school!
