He's better at offense then any player at Waterford. He scored 20 4 times this yr. He just hasn't had the opportunity because he didn't get enough shots. He is the best athlete in the PVC and it ain't close.

Waterford? Really? They play in the terrible valley conference ha. I would say that Nixon is on Lang's level athletically for sure and so is Wiechman. Brown is also a really strong, fast kid for Central.

What is the summer schedule for the P.V.C. teams looking like? I was looking at the boys schedule last night and it looks busy as usual. Caldwell is hosting a youth camp, going to a camp at Denison University, hosting their own shoot out with 11 other teams involved, playing in a summer league in Zanesville and going to team camp at Findlay. They always pick up a few open gyms/scrimmages with Sheridan and West M it seems too.

I think with Lane and Tyler Starr, Caleb Gray, and Josh Toland, Trail has the best returning players.

I think the best back court in the league will be Jorris and Brown. Jorris is a the best pure shooter the league has seen for along while. Brown is a gusty kid who can flat out D it up.

Not so certain that Burkhart isn't the best pure shooter for MC. Need Kuhn to come thru this year as big man under the basket. Duffy could be the sleeper for MC.

Idon't bash your league so don't bash mine.......The TVC is a fine league that has showed success in many different sports so like the old saying goes....if you ain't got anything nice to say, shut the heck up!

Linsly beat FF by 6 in the championship. I know that FF beat Fed Hock, Marietta, River, North Marion and Warren. Not sure who else they played. Only loss was Linsly.

Our boys played in the Denison shoot out in Granville today. Played in the small school bracket. Not sure what we got out of it. Results:
Caldwell 66 Newark JV 28
Caldwell 62 East Knox 38
Caldwell 78 Millersport 44 (was 44-9 at half)
Caldwell 79 Newark JV 35 (Marysville left early)
Over time tournament (4 minute running clock) Caldwell 7 Sheridan 9

They put the big schools on one side, the 6 small schools and two big school jv's on the other. Wasn't what I expected.

Wednesday night summer league results:
beat West Muskingum by around 15, west M missing a few kids
beat New Lex by 20
beat Cambridge by 11

Good start to the summer, Sheridan and Cambridge best teams we've seen so far.

Fort Frye is 2-0 in Williamstown league beating Belpre 66-41 and Paden City 59-42. They are so fast and the tempo is awesome. Carter Kiefer has picked up his defense taking pressure off Chan.
