Vinton County solves makeup game problem

Post by Sid Farkus »

VC is supposed to play Wellston tonight and Meigs tomorrow. Because of impending weather, they are going to have Wellston and Meigs combine their teams and play one game against VC tomorrow. If VC wins they get 2 wins and Wellston and Meigs each get 1 loss. If VC loses...well that actually hasn't been discussed because no one can imagine that happening.

What good would this do Sid? The only thing I see this helping is the Meigs bench! :)

Sorry boiler, I couldn't pass that one up! Haha

According to posts on the football forum this is probably fair, since a combination of the Meigs and Wellston districts would make them almost as large an area as VC's district. Put all three of these together and they may have 12 townships to equal Logan's district. Then Athens can join the combined school and form a league with Logan in which numbers don't matter.
