Notre Dame would be matched against the top Meigs Team for the right to go to Regionals in one bracket

Looks like PeeblesVs Fairfield in the other

Southern starting to separate themselves from pack after blowout wins over Waterford and South Gallia. A lot of basketball left but they are rolling..Symmes Valleys road win at Clay helps them coming off loss to St.Joe. Trimble looking better after big ot win vs Belpre. Eastern Pike back to .500 after last nights win and play a good Clay team Friday. Webster looks to be getting healthy took Oak Hill to the wire at Oak Hill.If draw were today Southern is # 1 seed imo but its not. We shall see.

Webster may not have many wins left on their schedule, but with Cook finally getting healthy and the underclassmen getting more experience each game, they will be a 8-9 seed that no top seed will want to face in a sectional game. Got to think Peebles, Notre Dame and Leesburg Fairfield will be tough outs at the Convo for whoever gets out of this sectional. Either way should, be some good D4 tourney basketball.*

Let's face it, D-4 schools are small and (for the most part) poor. It is hard for students, parents and fans to travel 2 hours for a playoff game. Especially on school nights and bad weather. If one has a daughter and son playing thats a lot of travel, time, and money. I believe the first games should be played at either the higher seed school or a neutral site. If at higher seeded schools, then it makes regular season even more important. If at neutral site, then a better sense of fairness. It would be ridiculous for Green, Symmes Valley, or St. Joseph to drive hours to play each other.

I'm not sure of South Webster's record, but I'd imagine they're the most dangerous team in this sectional.. According to the Portsmouth Daily Times, they've played (at) Oak Hill, Minford, and (at) Wheelersburg tight lately who would ALL be the best team in the Meigs sectional.. Anxious to see what seed they get..

There are 6 Tvc schools, 4 Soc and St.Joe. Tvc will not do Webster any favors..I promise you that. I knew the Jeeps would get things figured out and they will be a factor in tournament play.

Losses D2 Miami Trace by 2 (6-1), Greenfield (5-2), Hillsboro(4-4), D3 Zane Trace (5-1?) by a lot but without 2 top players), East Clinton (5-4)

Now that Fairfield has defeated Peebles by 15, they are a legit top 2 seed.

IMO

Fairfield and Peebles are the top 2 teams followed by ND, Paint Valley and Portsmouth Clay.

I agree with you that Fairfield and Peebles are the 2 best teams but I think Notre Dame will have to lose another game or two for Fairfield to get the 2 seed.

I've seen Peebles, Fairfield, ND, PV and Clay all play. I thought Peebles would be 1 seed but then they lost to Fairfield. But I believe these are the 2 top seeds. Then I'd say ND the 3, PV the 4 and Clay the 5. Still though, there are games to be played before the draw.

Of these 5 teams, what are their best 2 wins and worse 2 losses?? Who have they beat outside of division 4?
