I was typing fast. Coach Maddox and staff another excellent job. The defense the back half of the season has been stellar. This team CAN contend for a District tittle.

Tuesday night Meadowbrook lost at Parkersburg South, the #1 ranked big school in WV, by 4 in a game they led by 5 going to the 4th qtr. They both shot about the same FG% and had about the same number of made treys. South had 5 less turnovers, but 11 less rebounds. The difference in the game was that Meadowbrook shot 6 FTs to South's 28.

In this game one team shot 3 FTs and the other 2. Warren had 6 fewer turnovers, but 9 less rebounds. The difference in the game was Warren had 3 less FG attempts, but shot 60% to Meadowbrook's 48%. Was anyone there that could respond to my question if Meadowbrook backed way off on their defensive intensity, maybe in order to save energy for their big ECOL game with New Philly tonight.

Colts snapped back tonight with a 61-54 victory at New Philadelphia in OT. This brought to an end a brutal part of the schedule for Meadowbrook, 5 games in 8 nights. Don't play again until Tuesday at home vs. Steubenville.
