Triple header begins at 4:45

North Adams with it's rich basketball history travels to Jackson to face the Ironmen. North Adams will be ornery coming off an unexpected loss to Minford. They had a lot of foul trouble and I’m sure Coach (and former star) Nathan Copas will have worked hard to correct their issues from this past Friday. The Green Devils will have the size advantage in this matchup but Jackson is pretty used to being the smaller team over their modest basketball history. The Green Devils made the Convo their second home for about 15 years under HOF coach Dave Young and Copas led them back last season and are primed to return....but Jackson made its 3rd district final appearance last season and want nothing more than to return for more. Senior Caleb Wallis is beyond eager to get this season going and his teammates have had an excellent summer and scrimmage season.

I expect this to be a good one!

I believe I read somewhere that Minford had around 20 turnovers and still beat North Adams by 11.... that tells me North Adams isn't anywhere near where they're wanting to be at this point in the season. I've heard nothing but positives coming out of Jackson in the preseason.

Don't know what North Adams guards are like but if you have good guards you can give Jackson trouble. If you don't have good guards Wallis controls the game. I think this game is probably a toss up so give the advantage to Jackson by a couple being at home. And yes the parking charge stinks and has been talked about ad nauseum. It is what it is.
